Dati pa lang, sumuko na ako sa mga love stories, mapa-Korean man or Tagalog, kahit pa nga Taiwanese eh. Ewan ko. I usually find it very dramatic and too over the top. Napaka-komplikado ng mga storya ng buhay nila (lalo na kapag Filipino love story). Kaya puro crime shows na lang pinanonood ko. Walang masyadong emotional factors, just pure facts.
Ang huling koreanovelang pinanood ko at super nagustuhan ko talaga ay ang Green Rose at Wonderful Life, sa Tagalog naman, Maging Sino Ka Man and sa Taiwanese, honestly, di ko maalala, siguro Meteor Garden II. I gave up on love stories kasi it has the tendency to go overly depressing. I mean, kaya nga ako nanood ng love story to feel good pero minsan masyadong marami namang trahedya sa buhay para lang mapaghiwalay yung dalawang bida. Hays.
Not until I watched Mars did I change my mind. Don't get me wrong, kapag napanood mo yan, it IS emotional and it basically deals with grief and all pero yung problems nila it comes from their own pasts and hindi yun dumating para paghiwalayin sila. Sa opinion ng iba, it's one of the best dramas in Taiwan if not the best. I would like to agree but then again, hindi naman masyadong maraming Taiwanese drama ang napanood ko. But one thing is for sure, it brought out the romantic in me. :D
Ngayon, ang pinapanood ko Silence. It's a really simple story and yet very heartwarming. Two lonely kids met but were separated. After 13 years, both have not forgotten each other but the problem is that they do not know each others identities (because the girl is mute). It's really romantic and actually, sad (dahil sa ending niya). Hayss.
Okay. Medyo mahaba-haba na tong entry ko. Baka na-load na yung mga videos ko. :D

Kahapon, nagsimula ako manood ng isa pang Taiwanese drama. Silence yung title niya, and bago niyo pa itanong, oo, si Vic Zhou pa rin artista. Kasama niya si Park Eun Hye (na super ganda pala).
Anyways, naiistress ako kasi ang haba ng isang episode. Roughly 80 mins ang isa, compared sa Mars na more or less 45-50 mins lang. Sana talaga matapos ko ito.
Maganda siya, kakilig na may konting touch of comedy.

It's an old series. Mga 2004 pa ata. Parang after ata ng Meteor Garden. Di ko lang sure. Pero promise, ibang-iba talaga siya sa Meteor Garden. Sobrang mas maganda siya.
Paano ko ba nalamang ang tungkol sa palabas na to?? Mahabang kwento. Pero dahil wala naman ata akong gagawing importante (mamaya na ako manonood ng Silence, isa pang Vic Zhou drama :D), ikukwento ko na rin...
Ganito kasi yun... Nagsimula ang lahat sa soundtrip. Di ko na maalala pero bigla na lang kaming nagkantahan ng F4 songs sa school at napag-usapan namin na nung panahong sikat ang MG, adik kaming lahat. Basta yun, na-LSS ako at talagang dinownload ko lahat ng F4 songs na naaalala ko. Oha. Tapos nagbasa-basa ako tungkol sa kung ano na ang balita sa kanila. Pero pinakapinagtuunan ko ng atensyon ay ang aking oh so favorite na si Vic Zhou at doon ko nalamang marami na siyang drama series after MG at isa nga doon ang Mars. Sa lahat ng nabasa ko, iisa ang punto - malaki raw ang improvement ni Vic Zhou sa Mars compared sa MG. Plus, maganda rin yung kwento niya based sa mga nabasa ko. He plays a set of twins (yes, siya yung dalawang tao). Yung isa nagpakamatay and the other one, medyo nabaliw or something. Oh, sino ba namang hindi gugustuhing mapanood yan. Tapos. Partner pa niya si Barbie Xu. Aaminin ko, pinagdasal ko talaga kahit nung MG2 na, na sina Hua Ze Lei at San Chai ang magkatuluyan. :D:D:D So lalo talaga akong na-convince na dapat ko itong panoorin.
And, kagabi nga natapos ko na siyang panoorin. OMG. Hindi ako nagsisisi na pinanood ko siya. Grabe. Ang ganda niyaaaaaa. It's a story of how love can heal old wounds, even those that we think are already healed but in reality they're not. Grabee. :D:D:D It also deals with how fragile the human mind is, how some deal with the loss of a special person and how some look at death. And in the end, the important thing that we should all remember is, death is never the best option. :D
On its story... I mean, wala akong maipintas. Really. Maganda yung kwento and how it was written. Each character has something to give to the story. Walang character na nandun just to be there. No unnecessary twists. Although may parts na it seemed like it turned into a horror series, it was needed in the story eh. Haha.
On the acting... WOW. Yun lang ang masasabi ko. Grabe. Ang galing ng lahat ng artista dito. Lalo na of course sina Vic and Barbie. Total opposite ito nung mga roles nila sa MG. Si Ling (character ni Vic) yung pasaway and stuff while si Qi Luo (character ni Barbie) yung tahimik. Katulad nga ng sinabi ko, twins ang role ni Vic. And kahit yung twins, super opposite rin. Yung kakambal ni Ling na si Sheng, halos kapareho ni Qi Luo, tahimik. Although konti lang yung scenes ng twins na magkasama kasi nga patay na si Sheng, in those few scenes na magkasama sila, magkaibang-magkaiba talaga sila (which is a little freaky at times). Favorite scene ko yung pipili si Ling kung mabubuhay siya or mamamatay na. Sinusundo na siya ni Shenge. GRABEE. Ang ganda nung scene na yun. Muntik na siyang sumama. Buti na lang tinawag siya ni Qi Luo. HAHAHA.
